On behalf of the Secretariat, it is with great pride that we welcome you to Atatürk University Model United Nations! We are thrilled to host this celebration of diplomacy and globaldialogue. We have worked hard to create an event where your ideas can be transformed into meaningful action.

Get ready to sharpen a wide array of skills, from public speaking, debate, and research to international relations, teamwork, and leadership. You'll be stepping into the role of a UN diplomat, tackling the world's biggest and most complex issues—be it climate change, economic problems, international security, or human rights. Our central theme this year is a critical one: How can we protect our planet and its resources responsibly while also guaranteeing global security and peace? We are challenging you to build tangible bridges between sustainability and diplomacy. 

To our new delegates, we offer sincere congratulations for taking this bold step! To our returning members, it is a pleasure to welcome you back, and we can't wait to see how you've grown. We also extend our deepest gratitude to our faculty advisors for their invaluable guidance. 

As you finalize your preparations, remember that while facts shape the discussion, it's your passion that will define your impact. The Secretariat is truly honored to host you, and we are excited to see your diplomatic skills in action!
