Furkan Buçan
Chair of SOCHUM
Furkan Buçan is a sophomore studying Computer Engineering at Atatürk University. Bringing an analytical and structured approach to the academic board, Furkan is honored to serve as the Chair of the SOCHUM committee for AUMUN 2026.
He believes that the strength of SOCHUM lies in the diversity of ideas and the spirit of cooperation among delegates. Şevval Gürsoy
Co-Chair of SOCHUM
Şevval Gürsoy is a junior in the Department of English Language and Literature at Atatürk University. Driven by a profound interest in international relations and global diplomacy, she has established a strong presence in the Model United Nations community.
Drawing from her previous experience representing Italy as a delegate, Şevval possesses a firsthand understanding of the delegate experience and the nuances of diplomatic negotiation. This year, she brings her literary expertise and analytical skills to the academic board as the Co-Chair of the SOCHUM committee. She is dedicated to guiding delegates through insightful discussions and the crafting of fruitful resolutions. Melisa Kızgın

Melisa Kızgın is a sophomore in the Department of English Language and Literature at Atatürk University. Her journey into the world of international relations began with her participation in a Model United Nations conference, which introduced her to the nuances of diplomacy and global debate.
