Mehmet Eren Aksu
Chair of ECOFIN
Mehmet Eren Aksu is a senior at Atatürk University studying English Language Teaching (ELT). A prominent figure in the local MUN circuit, he serves as the Vice President of the Diplomacy Research Society, the hosting organization of this conference.
Following his successful tenure as the Board Chair of the ECOSOC committee during the inaugural AUMUN organization in Erzurum last fall, Mehmet Eren returns to the academic leadership as the Chair of ECOFIN for AUMUN 2026. His deep understanding of diplomatic structures and organizational leadership ensures a high-standard academic environment for all participants.

Hatice Peksöz
Co-Chair of ECOFIN
Hatice Peksöz brings a rich background in diplomatic simulations to the ECOFIN committee at AUMUN 2026. Her MUN journey began in 2021 as a delegate at a prestigious conference hosted by Bilkent Schools, an experience that provided her with a foundational understanding of international relations during her high school years.
Building on her delegate experience, Hatice previously served as a Co-Chair, where she developed a reputation for fostering supportive, respectful, and constructive communication with delegates. For AUMUN 2026, she is dedicated to ensuring that the deliberations in ECOFIN are productive and inspiring for every participant. Hatice is committed to guiding delegates through the complexities of economic policy while maintaining a high standard of diplomatic courtesy.
Ali İmran Alaca
Co-Chair of ECOFIN
Ali İmran Alaca is a dedicated student of International Relations at Atatürk University. Bringing a unique perspective to the academic board, Ali İmran previously contributed to the success of the conference as a member of the Security Team, where he gained invaluable insights into the organizational dynamics of MUN.
This year, he returns to the team in an academic capacity as the Co-Chair of the ECOFIN committee. His transition from the logistics and security side to the presiding dais reflects his deep commitment to the AUMUN community. Ali İmran shares the excitement of the delegates and is dedicated to ensuring a productive, high-level, and enjoyable committee process. He believes that the fusion of his academic background in international relations and his previous organizational experience will provide a supportive environment for all participants.
