CRISIS
Breaking away from the traditional General Assembly format, the Crisis committee is a fast-paced, dynamic environment where the narrative evolves with every directive passed. Delegates will be immersed in an unpredictable scenario—navigating historical turning points, political intrigue, and sudden crises. Success here requires quick thinking, strategic alliances, and the ability to respond to real-time updates. The working language of this committee will be Turkish.
CRISIS Academic Introduction: Meet Your Crisis Directors

The Masters of Chaos: The Crisis Backroom Team
Behind every unpredictable turn and high-stakes scenario in the Crisis Committee lies a dedicated team of brilliant minds. This is the Backroom Staff—the unseen architects of the conference’s most intense simulation. Led by the experienced Crisis Director Çağatay Tor and guided by the Crisis Board Elif Sude Uysal and Crisis Co-Chair Barış Yılmaz, this 8-member team works tirelessly to craft real-time challenges, deliver sudden plot twists, and respond to every delegate action with strategic brilliance. From rewriting history to managing global panics, they are the driving force that ensures a thrilling, fast-paced, and unforgettable MUN experience.

Çağatay Tor
Crisis Director
At the heart of the most unpredictable committee of AUMUN 2026 stands Çağatay, serving as the Crisis Director. As the primary architect behind the committee’s evolving narrative, Çağatay is responsible for designing the complex web of political, military, and social crises that delegates must navigate.
With a deep mastery of strategic storytelling and diplomatic simulations, he oversees the "Backroom," ensuring that every action taken by a delegate triggers a meaningful and often challenging consequence. His role is to push the boundaries of conventional diplomacy, forcing participants to think on their feet and adapt to a rapidly changing world. Under Çağatay’s direction, the Crisis committee promises to be an immersive, high-stakes experience where only the most agile minds will prevail.
Elif Sude Uysal
Crisis Chair
Elif Sude Uysal is a sophomore in the Department of English Language and Literature at Atatürk University. A familiar face within the AUMUN community, she returns this year with a unique background, having previously served in both the Crisis Department and the Entertainment (ENT) Team.
This dual experience gives her a masterclass perspective on both the high-pressure "backroom" operations and the dynamic social energy required on the "dais." As the Crisis Chair, Sude is dedicated to providing unwavering support to all delegates while guiding them through the unpredictable turns of the committee. She is eagerly looking forward to meeting everyone in April and witnessing the strategic brilliance of the participants. She wishes all delegates the best of luck in what promises to be an unforgettable, high-adrenaline experience.
